St. Charles Culinary Arts Teacher Shows Kids How to “Own the Kitchen”

Project C.O.O.K. (Children On-Board Owning the Kitchen) is a fantastic new program supported by City of Hamilton Public Health Services and the HWCDSB. It has been created to teach students the importance of healthy choices, how to boost fruits and vegetables into their daily diet, and learn essential life skills. St. Charles Culinary Arts Teacher Charlene Talwin has dedicated her time to demonstrate and teach the grade 7 and 8 students how to “Own the Kitchen”

“It has been a real pleasure teaching the grade 7 and grade 8 students a variety of cooking techniques and healthy recipes”, she said, “They all seem to really love the hands-on experience!”
