Would your child like to learn a new language or learn more about his/her heritage language and culture?

For over 25 years, the International Languages Program has provided elementary school children with an opportunity to experience the culture, traditions and language of their heritage or other countries.

During the school year, the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board will be offering an International Languages programs for elementary school age children. Programs are offered free of charge in a variety of languages at various schools throughout Hamilton. Please see flyer for details.

The focus of the elementary program is to offer children an opportunity to develop and/or maintain the ability to listen, speak and write a new language or the language of the home or heritage, and at the same time learn about the culture and heritage associated with the language. No prior knowledge of the language is necessary.

Registration is available now. Pre-registration will take place on Wednesday June 19th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the site where your choice of the language program is being offered. Please refer to the summer ILEP flyer below.
