The following classes are running for night school starting St. Jean de Brebeuf CSS (February 19th – 6 pm to 9 pm). There are no night classes at Cathedral.

If you haven't registered for the classes yet, you can come tonight at 6pm. Existing high school students must bring signed permission to attend form (see your guidance counsellor). Adults should bring their high school transcript.

All part-time students looking to complete a course that has been cancelled can register for ILC at St. Charles Mountain (150 East 5th St.). Please see your guidance counselor first.

Night School provides you, the student, with an opportunity to participate in a unique educational experience to reach ahead for credits or recover credits that you need.

For course offerings, please see credit flyer below. OLC4O1 (Literacy) and HHS4U (Families in Canada) have recently been added.

We do our best to anticipate demand, but based on student enrolment, we reserve the right to:

How to Apply

REGISTER IN ONE OF TWO WAYS:

1) ON-LINE REGISTRATION: Begins January 16, 2019 at http://mypath.pathtosuccess.ca for students of the HWCDSB. They must Log in using existing MyPath account. Once logged in to MyPath, students must select “School Courses” then “HWCDSB Summer/Night School”, and once there, select the course and preferred location. Registration for Non-HWCDSB students begins on January 21, 2019 students will need to create a new account (BE ACCURATE) and fill out an Online Registration form (https://via.hwcdsb.ca/). Follow the QRC instructions found on www.stcharles.ca/ns. Bring your signed “Permission to attend” form with you to the first class (Download from www.stcharles.ca).

2) ON-SITE REGISTRATION: Only if you have NOT registered on-line, you can register at the Night School location of your choice from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on February 14, 2019. You MUST have your signed permission form to register (Download from www.stcharles.ca).
PLEASE NOTE - REPORT CARDS are mailed to the day school you have indicated, make sure this information is correct.

Non-HWCDSB students must bring their high school transcript (or signed permission form) to register for Credit classes.

Adults must bring their high school transcript, birth certificate or passport (or Immigration documentation if not a citizen) to register for Credit classes.

CREDIT COURSES
• Tuesdays and Thursdays from February 19 - June 13, 2019 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. (FULL AND REPEAT CREDIT)
- Please note there is no school: March 11 – 15, 2019 (March Break), April 4, 2019 (parent/teacher interviews - day school), or April 18, 2019 - at night only (Holy Thursday)

Application to Attend ILC (for Part-time Secondary School Students)

Rules

ATTENDANCE
Prompt, daily attendance is expected. Students who incur more than 3 absences in a full credit course and 1.5 absences in a half credit or upgrade course will be withdrawn.

DRESS CODE
Clothing suitable for a school setting (at the discretion of the Principal).

Fees

Free for adults and Ontario secondary school students.

A book deposit of $100.00 (cheque only) made payable to St. Charles is required on the first day of class for most credit courses. The cheque will be returned upon receipt of the textbook at the end of the course.

Foreign VISA students (from outside of Canada): $1366.00 for a full credit course (cash or certified cheque only) or $683.00 for a half credit course, payable in full at registration.
