To
be eligible for a CLB Assessment one must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident,
Landed Immigrant, Refugee Claimant, Convention Refugee, Visa
(Student, Employment or other), Ministers’ Permit, (any case
type).
All CLB Assessors are experienced teachers, TESL certified and CLB
certified in various tools.
Assessors are re-certified every two
years by the Canadian Language Benchmark Centre in Ottawa.
Clients
wanting to attend ESL, PSW, ESL CREDIT and HIGH SCHOOL CREDIT
Classes must see a CLB Assessor from St. Charles Adult Education
Centres to determine current language proficiency and specific needs
