General Information 40-hour non-credit summer program For Grade 7 & 8 students performing at Level I or Level II Strengthen your Language Arts and Mathematics skills Delivered in an interactive learning environment Language will focus on developing reading, writing and oral communication skills Mathematics will focus on geometry, measurement, algebra, data management and computational skills Teaching strategies, including use of computers, small group and individual instruction, will increase student involvement and learning Students must have successfully completed Grade 7 or 8 and be recommended for the summer school program by their school principal Transportation to and from Summer School is the responsibility of the parent/guardian Registration Contact your home school first.
