General Information
Structured and disciplined learning environment
For adult learners, 18 years of age and out of school for a minimum of one year
Adults registered in the full program can earn 3 senior credits per session
Two full successful sessions (6 senior credits) will fulfill the requirements for an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
Adults who require one or two additional credits to graduate, can earn them through our Independent Learning program.
Registration Information Students must make an appointment for a credit assessment with the guidance counselor.
Students must bring the following documents to the credit assessment:
high school transcript
letter from the day school principal indicating that the student has been out of school for at least one year
Canadian birth certificate or immigration status
one piece of photo I.D.
All clients must inform the credit office upon registration of their status as Ontario Works Clients.
Courses may be dropped prior to the mid-term report only. After that time, the Ministry of Education’s Full-Disclosure Policy will be in effect.
All students must sign an Internet Agreement Form upon registration.
Deposits
$25 per textbook.
All book deposits are fully refundable when books are returned in good condition.
With the exception of the computer courses, all programs have a textbook.
