General Information
Familiarize yourself with the format and directions of the test
Practice and learn key test-taking strategies for the TOEFL iBT
Learn techniques to build vocabulary
Review key grammar points
Improve listening comprehension skills
Write and receive feedback on practice essays
Take monthly simulated tests using the current format with corrections and feedback
Identify weak areas
Developing English skills necessary to succeed on the test.
Students must have results minimum CLB Level 6.
About TOEFL Test
Measures ability of non-native speakers of English to use and understand English as spoken, written, and heard in college and university settings
Is an internet-based test (TOEFL iBT)
Tests all four language skills that are important for effective communication: speaking, listening, reading, and writing
Every question tests as many as two or three language skills at once
Approximately four hours long
