General Information

  • Familiarize yourself with the format and directions of the test

  • Practice and learn key test-taking strategies for the TOEFL iBT

  • Learn techniques to build vocabulary 

  • Review key grammar points 

  • Improve listening comprehension skills

  • Write and receive feedback on practice essays

  • Take monthly simulated tests using the current format with corrections and feedback

  • Identify weak areas

  • Developing English skills necessary to succeed on the test.

  • Students must have results minimum CLB Level 6.

TOEFLAbout TOEFL Test

  • Measures ability of non-native speakers of English to use and understand English as spoken, written, and heard in college and university settings

  • Is an internet-based test (TOEFL iBT)

  • Tests all four language skills that are important for effective communication: speaking, listening, reading, and writing

  • Every question tests as many as two or three language skills at once

  • Approximately four hours long
