Summer School

Credit Summer School runs July only. There are no credit classes in August. Students can only take 1 class for this term.

Registration runs from April 2 until June 3, 2024. Late registration will open June 26, 27, 28 (4-7pm) and July 2 (8 am-1:30 pm)

Summer school is available for HWCDSB students currently in Grades 9 to 12. Adults please go this link.

HWCDSB students currently in grade 8 may register for Reach Ahead courses. Reach ahead courses for grade 8 students are limited one of the following courses:

• Introduction to Business: BBI2O1 (in-person)/BBI2OE (online)
• Introduction to Technology: TIJ1O1 (in-person)/TIJ1OE (online)
• Expressions of First Nations, Metis and Inuit: NAC1O1(In-Person)/NAC1OE(Online)

Please refer to Reach Ahead flyer for details. All grade 9 courses are only available to students currently in high school.

All exams are in-person and will take place at the attending school (in-person classes) or at a designated site (online classes) to be determined later. Dates: July 24 (full credit classes only) & July 12 (upgrade courses only)

Final marks will be posted on ASPEN and communicated to your home school by August 6.
