Grade 8 students going into Grade 9 can only take one of three courses:

• Expressions of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Cultures - NAC1O1 (In-Person) / NAC1OE (Online)
• Launching and Leading a Business - BEP2O1 (In-Person) / BEP2OE (Online)
• Technology and the Skilled Trades - TAS2OE (Hybrid format with face-to-face hands on component)
• Please note that the Civics and Careers program is NOT offered to Grade 8 students.

Full Credits (including Reach Ahead): July 2-25, 2025*

Civics: July 2-11, 2025*

Upgrades (online only): July 2-11, 2025*

Careers: July 14-25, 2025*

Co-op: July 2-August 1 (times may vary)

*In-Person: 8:00am to 2:15pm / online: asynchronous

If you are not a HWCDSB student, you will need to submit photo ID (Passport or a Birth Certificate accompanied by another form of photo ID) and a copy of your transcripts (Reach Ahead students do not need transcripts)

On June 16 @ 8am, we will be including a link in this section to make in-person appointments on June 25 & 26 5pm-7pm, June 30 8am-2pm at either St. Jean de Brebeuf Secondary School or Cathedral HIgh school. This is now the only way to register.
